1. General Introduction, Definitions and Provisions
1.1 The Operator
"WeRivals" is operated by The Rivals Limited, a private limited company incorporated in England and Wales under company number 16099467, with its registered office at 128 City Road, London, United Kingdom, EC1V 2NX. References to "we", "us" or "our" refer to The Rivals Limited.
1.2 The Agreement
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms"), together with our Privacy Policy, Responsible Gaming Policy and any applicable bonus terms, constitute the entire agreement between you ("Account Holder") and The Rivals Limited. By registering an account, logging in, or using any of our Services, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to be bound by these Terms in their entirety.
We may update these Terms at any time. You will be notified of material changes before they take effect. Continued use of WeRivals following notification constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
1.3 Definitions
The following definitions apply throughout these Terms:
- "Account Holder" — a person who has registered an account on WeRivals and entered into a contractual relationship with The Rivals Limited.
- "Services" — the casino games, prediction bet markets and any related features and promotions made available through the WeRivals platform.
- "Website" — the online platform accessible at werivals.com and any associated mobile applications.
- "Balance" — the funds held in an Account Holder's WeRivals account available for wagering or withdrawal.
- "Inactive Account" — any account on which no login or logout activity has occurred for 12 or more consecutive months.
- "Force Majeure" — any event beyond a party's reasonable control, including natural disasters, governmental restrictions, acts of war, riots, civil unrest, terrorism, fire, flood, pandemic, or failure of third-party infrastructure.
- "Intellectual Property" — all trade marks, trade names, logos, images, graphics, text, concepts and methodology found on the Website and in the Services, which are the exclusive property of The Rivals Limited and/or its licensors.
- "Prize" — any amount, bonus or other reward that an Account Holder may win through use of the Services.
1.4 Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
2. Licensing
The Rivals Limited is licensed and regulated to provide the Services. WeRivals operates in compliance with applicable laws and regulatory requirements. The nature of business is classified under SIC code 93290 — Other amusement and recreation activities not elsewhere classified.
All Services offered through WeRivals are provided under the applicable licence held by The Rivals Limited. Game outcomes are determined by certified random number generators operated by our licensed game suppliers. Return-to-player (RTP) percentages are published within each game's information panel.
3. Account Rules
3.1 Registration
To register an account on WeRivals, you must provide accurate and complete information including:
- Full legal name
- Date of birth (confirming you are 18 years of age or older)
- Valid email address
- Residential address
- Phone number
- A chosen password
You are responsible for ensuring all information provided is truthful, accurate and kept up to date. We reserve the right to request supporting documentation at any time to verify the information you have provided.
3.2 Eligibility
By registering an account, you guarantee and declare that:
- You are at least 18 years of age;
- You are legally permitted to participate in online gambling in your jurisdiction;
- You are a natural person and not acting on behalf of another party;
- You do not suffer from a gambling addiction and are not registered on any self-exclusion scheme that covers the Services;
- The funds you deposit are from legitimate sources and are not proceeds of criminal activity;
- You are not a current employee, contractor or close family member of The Rivals Limited or any of our game suppliers;
- You will not use automated systems, bots or scripts to access or manipulate the Services.
3.3 One Account Per Person
Each person may hold only one account on WeRivals. If duplicate accounts are detected, we reserve the right to close all duplicate accounts, void any associated bets or winnings, and restrict access to the platform. Bonuses obtained via duplicate accounts will be forfeited.
3.4 Account Security
You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You must not share your password with any third party. If you suspect that your account has been accessed without your authorisation, you must contact us immediately at support@werivals.com.
We will not be liable for any loss arising from unauthorised access to your account caused by your failure to keep your credentials secure.
3.5 Account Suspension and Closure
We reserve the right to suspend, freeze or close any account at our sole discretion, including but not limited to where:
- We have reason to believe the Terms have been violated;
- The account is being used for fraudulent, collusive or unlawful activity;
- Incorrect or misleading information was provided during registration;
- We are required to do so by a regulatory authority or court of law;
- The account has been inactive for an extended period.
An Account Holder may close their account at any time by contacting our support team at support@werivals.com. Any balance remaining will be returned to the registered payment method, subject to the completion of any applicable verification checks.
3.6 Inactive Accounts
An account is considered inactive if no login or logout activity has been recorded for 12 or more consecutive months. We will notify you at least 30 days before any administrative fees are applied to an inactive account. You may avoid such fees by logging in or withdrawing your balance within that 30-day window.
4. Payment Rules
4.1 Deposits
All deposits must be made from a payment method registered in your own name. We do not accept deposits from payment methods belonging to third parties. Minimum and maximum deposit limits may apply depending on your chosen payment method and are displayed in the cashier section.
We reserve the right to refuse any deposit at our discretion, including where identity or payment verification has not been satisfactorily completed.
4.2 Withdrawals
Withdrawals will be processed to the same payment method used for the original deposit where possible. We reserve the right to request identity verification documentation before processing any withdrawal. Processing times vary by payment method and are typically completed within 1–5 business days.
Withdrawal requests may be delayed or refused where:
- Identity verification is outstanding;
- There are reasonable grounds to suspect fraudulent activity;
- Active bonus wagering requirements have not been met;
- A chargeback has been initiated in connection with the account.
4.3 Currency
All transactions are processed in the currency displayed in the cashier. Currency conversion fees may apply and are the responsibility of the Account Holder.
4.4 Anti-Money Laundering
We are required by law to monitor transactions and report any suspicious activity to the relevant authorities. We may request documentation regarding the source of your funds at any time. Failure to provide satisfactory documentation may result in account suspension and the withholding of funds pending investigation.
4.5 Chargebacks
If a chargeback is initiated in relation to your account, we reserve the right to immediately suspend the account pending investigation. Any funds on the account that are unrelated to the chargeback ("Unaffected Balance") will be held until the matter is resolved. We may apply processing fees in connection with chargeback investigations.
5. Security
We employ industry-standard security measures including SSL encryption to protect your personal and financial data. All communications between you and WeRivals are encrypted in transit.
Telephone and electronic communications between Account Holders and our support team may be recorded for security, training and compliance purposes.
If you identify an error, vulnerability or unintended behaviour on the platform, you must not exploit it for personal gain. You are required to report it to us immediately at support@werivals.com. Exploitation of platform errors may result in account closure and forfeiture of any associated winnings.
6. Disclaimer
6.1 Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, The Rivals Limited shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss or damage arising from your use of or inability to use the Services, including but not limited to loss of winnings, data, business opportunity or reputation.
Where we are found liable by a court of competent jurisdiction, our total liability shall not exceed the amount of the relevant wager or, if lower, the net winnings attributable to the error.
6.2 Service Interruptions
We do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Services. We shall not be liable for any losses arising from service interruptions caused by technical failures, maintenance, third-party outages or Force Majeure events.
If a game is interrupted due to a failure in our systems before its outcome has been determined, we will endeavour to restore the game to its state immediately before the interruption. If this is not possible, the stake will be returned to the Account Holder.
6.3 Accuracy of Information
All information published on WeRivals — including odds, scores, event times and editorial content — is provided for informational purposes only and does not constitute professional advice of any kind.
6.4 Third Party Content
Unless otherwise stated, The Rivals Limited is not affiliated with or connected to any sports teams, event organisers or players depicted on the Website.
6.5 Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Rivals Limited, its directors, employees, affiliates and partners against any claims, losses, damages, costs or expenses arising from your use of the Services, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any applicable law or third-party right.
7. Bonuses and Promotions
7.1 General
We may offer bonuses and promotions from time to time. All bonuses are subject to separate promotional terms which will be made available to you before you opt in. By claiming a bonus, you confirm that you have read and accepted the applicable terms.
Bonuses may not be transferred, sold or exchanged for cash except in accordance with applicable wagering requirements. Cancelling a bonus before wagering requirements are met will result in the forfeiture of that bonus and any winnings derived from it.
7.2 Eligibility
Unless otherwise stated, each Account Holder is eligible for a maximum of one bonus per promotion. Eligibility is determined per person, household, IP address, device and email address.
We reserve the right to offer or withhold specific promotions at our discretion. Bonuses will not be offered to Account Holders who have opted out of marketing communications.
7.3 Bonus Abuse
"Bonus abuse" includes but is not limited to:
- Opening multiple accounts to claim multiple bonuses;
- Placing bets that, regardless of outcome, result in a guaranteed profit due to bonus terms;
- Manipulating or circumventing bonus conditions in any way.
Where bonus abuse is detected or reasonably suspected, we reserve the right to forfeit the relevant bonus and associated winnings, restrict the account from future promotions, and/or close the account immediately.
8. Bets and Prediction Markets
WeRivals offers binary prediction markets on sports, cryptocurrency, politics, entertainment and other topics. By placing a bet, you confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms and any market-specific rules.
A bet may be voided if required by applicable law or in the event of Force Majeure. If an event does not take place, all stakes will be returned to the Account Holder in full.
We reserve the right to amend betting limits, payout limits and market availability at any time. Existing placed bets will be honoured at the time they were placed.
Suspicious betting activity — including but not limited to match-fixing, collusion or the use of automated betting systems — will be investigated and may result in settlement being withheld, bets voided and accounts closed. We may report suspicious activity to the relevant authorities.
9. Casino Games
Casino games are provided by licensed third-party game suppliers, operating under their own regulatory approvals. The identity of the game supplier is displayed within the game information panel prior to play.
Each game has its own specific rules, win probabilities, payout percentages and methods of determining outcomes. These are always made available before you participate and can be accessed within the game itself.
All casino games use certified Random Number Generators (RNGs). Game outcomes are determined independently and cannot be manipulated by The Rivals Limited or by players.
We are not liable for disputes relating to intellectual property rights connected to individual casino games, which remain the responsibility of the relevant game supplier.
10. Responsible Gaming
We are committed to providing a safe and responsible gaming environment. Gambling should be entertaining. If it becomes anything other than that, we encourage you to use the tools available to you.
Account Holders may request the following at any time:
- Deposit limits — daily, weekly or monthly caps on how much you can deposit;
- Session reminders — periodic notifications of your time spent on the platform;
- Cooling-off periods — temporary breaks of 24 hours up to 6 weeks;
- Self-exclusion — temporary or permanent exclusion from the platform.
We reserve the right to apply restrictions to an account based on behavioural signals detected by our responsible gaming systems, without requiring your prior consent, where we have reasonable grounds to believe that continued use may cause harm.

11. Complaints Policy
We operate a free and fair complaints procedure. If you wish to raise a complaint, please contact our support team in the first instance:

We will acknowledge receipt of your complaint within 72 hours. We aim to provide a full written response within 8 weeks of acknowledgement, setting out our findings and any action taken.
We reserve the right not to respond to complaints that relate to matters already addressed under this policy. In such cases, we will notify you of this within 7 days of receiving the complaint.
All legal disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
12. Amendments
We reserve the right to update, amend or supplement these Terms at any time. You will be notified of material changes via a notice on the Website or by email. If you continue to use the Services following notification of changes, this will be treated as your acceptance of the revised Terms.
If you do not accept the revised Terms, you must immediately cease use of the Services. Any bets placed before the effective date of an amendment will be settled under the Terms applicable at the time of placement.
